“ BEST COFFEE OF CENTRAL FLORIDA! Calypso coffee is a Greek Mythology themed coffee shop with Greek Mythology themed specialty drinks that are so creative, unique, DELICIOUS, and the smoothest coffee we’ve ever had and we’ve traveled and had coffee from small mom and pop coffee shops all over the USA, and Calypso is honestly the best and we buy their coffee beans to drink at home too. Like we would travel out of our way to go here. Not only are they a small family owned business, but they share their story of how their family in Guatemala sources their coffee beans from Guatemala, the elevation they grow the coffee, the time, love, and meticulous care their whole family puts into growing the finest, highest quality coffee beans, and if their story isn’t enough to make you absolutely fall in love with this place, then their coffee and food for sure will!! The owner(s) are so sweet, and have a real passion for this and you can tell just by how they talk about their family coffee bean farm, this coffee shop, the creativity behind creating this coffee shop, everything about Calypso is charming and welcoming. Smoothest espresso coffee we have ever had, HIGHLY recommend this place! ”
“ I was searching for acai bowls when I discovered Calypso Coffee, and I'm so glad I did! My mom and I went around noon on a weekday. We were the only ones when we first got there, but a few other parties came and went as we ate. The acai bowl isn't on the printed menu, but is indeed available (strawberries, blueberries, granola, honey, coconut flakes) and made fresh. My mom had the caprese flatbread, which had fresh ingredients like sun roasted tomatoes. I also ordered a flat white, and there were many milk choices available as well as flavors. I had honey, and it was fresh honey, not a syrup. My favorite part was that the coffee comes from the owner's family farm in Guatemala, and it was delicious! You can also purchase fresh roasted beans to take home! Ambience was 10/10, the staff were super nice and friendly, the food and coffee were amazing, and there were little mini chocolates sitting out! Love love. ”
“ My fiance has asked me to take her to Calypso Coffee Bar for quite some time since seeing their coffee flights on social media, and we finally had time today and I am so glad that we did! This is by far the coolest coffee shop I've been to with the best coffee I've had in years! I don't even know where to start... First and foremost, the theme is based on Greek mythology, which in itself made us interested after seeing their flights. When you walk in, the decor is bright, colorful, fun, coordinated, there are Greek mythology books on the table, homemade candles for sale, and there is even an area for a photo shoot. There are so many fun things for your eyes and items for sale such as bags of coffee are available along the walls! Now, the most important part - The coffee. As a former Starbucks Store Manager and food & beverage reviewer for Google, I am a bit of a coffee snob lol and I was blown away by the flavor notes, intensity, cold foam topping, all of it. Every bit of the drink was on point. The absolutely phenomenal drink that I got was the, "Hecate's Brew," which is described on the menu, written by the owner, as: Latte. Butterscotch & Caramel. Topped with Caramel Cold Foam. Served Hot or Iced. For some added magic, sort your colors! Caramel Drizzle Contains Dairy. Non-Dairy excludes Caramel Drizzle. Something else that we observed was the local collaborations were you could purchase certain menu items and receive something in return from another local business that the company is partnering with. This type of collaboration is exactly what we strive to support in the community, businesses that help show support for other businesses. We went at a great time, around 2pm, which was perfect because we had the pleasure to be warmly greeted by the owner who proceeded to tell us all about how Calypso is a family owned business, and how her father, uncle(s), and family source the beams from Guatemala personally. She then continued to say that their business helps their local community in Guatemala and showed us pictures and videos of her family working, the people that they helped, etc. My fiance was covered in goosebumps and I was speechless as we love philanthropy and actually do some of our own on the side. We were truly delighted by the experience and furthermore proud that we not only supported a locally owned family business but furthermore that our coffee purchase made a difference, along with the small contribution that the checkout allowed us to add on, as an option. 12/10 Recommend. ”
“ Oh my god I love this place! For the standing menu items or their limited time edition and they all super tasty! My favorite so far is Taurus and Cinnamoroll! Also for the pastry, Dubai Pistachios Chocolate Mallorca is super delicious. Staff is super friendly and price is fair and I come here every weekend! Highly recommended!!! ”

“ I am someone who chases down all the new viral coffee shops in town (lol) & Calypso blew it out of the water. Drove 40 min to get here and would come back 10/10. The owner was very polite and friendly. Natasha was my barista and this is the first time I EVER finished my coffee flight to the last sip. Every flavor was great but shoutout to hecates brew (butterscotch/caramel) sooooo good and the seasonal tidal crush (matcha pineapple juice foam). Not only was everything aesthetically pleasing but the taste was 10/10 and I don’t give just anyone that type of rating. The breakfast sandwiches were solid too! Round of applause for Calypso Coffee Bar. ”
“ Five stars all around. They are equally kid and dog friendly! I walk there with my dog and she can tell when we’re headed there and is always so excited because the owners and employees are always so warm and welcoming. My kids love it, too! The 7 year old said she “loves the vibe of the mermaid coffee shop” and my toddler highly recommends every flavor of macaron and enjoys them while sitting on a cozy bench they have inside. They have awesome regular menu drinks and seasonal awesomeness. I try to come at least once a week because I work from home and don’t see a lot of people. When I go there I know I’ll see friendly faces and have a fun chat while also eating/drinking deliciousness! ”
“ While searching for a new coffee shop I came across Calypso My husband and I were served by Julisa who was very helpful since it was our first time. While waiting, Julisa’s father was so kind in taking the time to talk to us and sharing more about their unique coffee. We ended up trying the coffee flights. My favorite was the Poseidon’s Sea (Tea) and my husband’s favorite was Hades’ Wrath. We also got a butter and chocolate croissant. Overall everything was delicious! We will definitely be returning :-) ”
